Family and friends celebrated Darrell Lane's not guilty on all counts in a triple homicide case. Lane was wrongfully accused of three counts of first-degree murder in the 2005 stabbing deaths of Belleville hair stylist Michael Cooney and two clients, sisters Dorothy Bone and Doris Fischer. Lane was taken back to the county jail and released to relatives about 4:45 p.m. "It feels good," Lane told reporters.

Town and Country is can only budget $10,000 for controlling the deer population. And that amount isn't enough to for any substantial deer management program. The city of has has turned to residents for private donations. Two competing camps are raising funds- those that want to spare the deer through a sterilization plan and those that want to kill them with sharp shooters. For the sterilization plan, residents need to raise $33,800. The sharpshooter group needs to come up with $20,000. The deadline for both groups is Friday.
