Crystal City Underground
Crystal City Underground is a by-product of a sand mining operation. The approximately 200-acre cave has 30-40 ft. ceilings and plenty of room for big ideas. Entrepreneur Tom Kerr has plans to transform the location into a cultural and convention facility with sports and recreational amenities.

Chrysler's St. Louis South Plant is being demolished
O'Fallon, Mo. resident Edward Meyer, a former worker at Chrysler's South Plant in Fenton, is chronicling the destruction of this area manufacturing landmark. Each of the two main Chrysler plants in Fenton are 70 football fields of enclosed space and that's not counting all the support buildings and the power plant. The plan is to demolish the South Plant first since that plant can be seen from the highway for possible retail, housing and office use.
Images are sorted in reverse order, beginning in Sept. 2, 2011 and going back to November 2010.
