Mr. and Mrs. Armand Cantino, of 5523 Pershing Boulevard, leaving the bank with police escort. They were inside the bank transacting business when the robbery began. When the robbers realized they were trapped, Bowerman ordered his accomplices to "Grab a woman." Scholl picked Mrs. Cantino, but let her go when she began crying that she was a mother.
