We came to sing to him.," said Lindy Flynn, who visited her husband's grave with her daughter Mary Ann Liebrock of Fenton at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery Friday afternoon. A decade ago, cemetery managers warned they would run out of space by 2010. But through expansion and some reorganizing, the cemetery, with an average of 17 daily burials, is hoping to make it possibly to 2027. Veteran Thomas Flynn who died in February is buried in section 1-IIA which was started August 1, 2010. The section holds 2145 grave sites and is expected to fill by July 5 2011.
