Caption: MAY 27 2011- "He is my first and last love. I come everyday. I can't believe he is gone," said Monika Morgan, who kisses her husband's headstone at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery Friday afternoon. A decade ago, cemetery managers warned they would run out of space by 2010. But through expansion and some reorganizing, the cemetery, with an average of 17 daily burials, is hoping to make it possibly to 2027. Veteran Donald Morgan Sr. is buried in section 1-IIB started in June 2008. The section holds 3752 grave sites filled by August 1, 2010. Laurie Skrivan| lskrivan@post-dispatch.com
