Caption: MAY 27 2011- "This is my first visit since his funeral," said Georgia Holder of St. Louis who visits her husband's grave while employees bury the day's internments at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery Friday afternoon. A decade ago, cemetery managers warned they would run out of space by 2010. But through expansion and some reorganizing, the cemetery, with an average of 17 daily burials, is hoping to make it possibly to 2027. Veteran Floyd C. Holder, who was buried May 16th will be one of the last in section 1-IIA which was started August 1, 2010. The section holds 2145 grave sites and is expected to fill by July 5 2011.
