Tuesday August 23, 2011--John O'Neil, 4, of University City, plays in the spray pool in the children's playground at Tilles Park in Ladue on Tuesday. Many mothers at the spray pool brought their children there to cool off because their community pools were closed during the week now that school has resume for most area school. The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory that began on Tuesday at noon and is expected to continue through 7 PM on Wedneday. The heat index is expected to reach 105 degrees on Wednesday.
