Barbara Webster of the 4200 block of Athlone, traded in her Chevy Equinox and put down a cash down payment in February in what she thought was a loan agreement to buy a 2011 Kia Sorento. In May, after making a couple of payments, she was told her credit eventually was not accepted as originally conveyed and the Kia was repossessed.
