For the past 17 years John and his brother Jim McLaughlin, general manager of uniform services at Aramark, have hosted the event. They gave away hats, scarfs, and gloves, all donated by Aramark, to about 150 people who attended. "Seniors are a group who seem to be overlooked, particularly in depressed neighborhoods. With this program we are able to get them out of their homes and interacting with the police department and neighborhood stabilization teams," John McLaughlin said.
