Tuesday September 13, 2011--Fred W. Robinson, 69, talks to the media outside the federal courthouse in St. Louis after he made an appearance in court to face charges of one count of wire fraud and seven felony counts of theft from a federal program Tuesday.  Robinson, board chairman for the now-defunct Paideia Academy charter school, was arrested by federal authorities on Tuesday morning.  He is accused of diverting state and federal education dollars from the school and submitting false time sheets in the St. Louis Treasurer's Office.
