After dropping off his load of scrap metal, and apparently going through the truck wash since the undercarriage is wet, a Shapiro Brothers truck driver heads down Delmar Street Thursday, March 1, 2012, in Festus. Testing last fall by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources revealed high lead levels in the sediment left on city streets from trucks leaving the facility. Truck traffic has been diverted down Delmar after a culvert collapsed on a street connecting the facility to Highway 61/67. Photo by Laurie Skrivan, lskrivan@post-dispatch.com
