"Twenty years ago I left my country.  I left my home," said Bajric, who evacuated his hometown of Kotor-Varos in Bosnia with his mother and two siblings, leaving their father behind.  His father was reunited with the family two years later in Croatia, where they awaited an uncle to sponsor them to St. Louis.  "There's nothing to celebrate," he said of the 20th anniversary of the beginning of the war.  "It's really a day of mourning."
