Seventy students from Clark Elementary School helped Twister celebrate his 5th birthday on Monday, April 16, 2012, Carol Gates Throop Memorial Park. Twister, known as "the miracle colt" that was born after his pregnant mother was rescued by Longmeadow Rescue Ranch from an I-44 tractor trailer accident in September 2006. Twister celebrated with carrots, apples, and horse treats.
