Senior class president Virgie Chatman pins school colors on Lavaughn Walker who accepted the award in behalf of her deceased daughter from Principal Derrick Mitchell during Vashon's High School Color's Day and Award's Ceremony Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Vashon. Her daughter, Sarah Billingsley-Walker was found dead Monday night. An autopsy determined she had been strangled. Vashon dedicated the Color's Day Program to the memory of Billingsley-Walker.
