O'Fallon, Mo. resident Edward Meyer, a former worker at Chrysler's South Plant in Fenton, is chronicling the destruction of this area manufacturing landmark. Each of the two main Chrysler plants in Fenton are 70 football fields of enclosed space and that's not counting all the support buildings and the power plant. The plan is to demolish the South Plant first since that plant can be seen from the highway for possible retail, housing and office use.
