People surveyed the damage and began the cleanup Saturday after the Good Friday storms that sawed across St. Louis. The National Weather Service said the storms and likely tornadoes were the worst to hit St. Louis in 40 years

April  24 2011- As soon as my son made it down to basement with his wife and two kids the tornado hit. April  24 2011-  I want to gather a view more personal items, said Leah Fisk, to her father Dale Schlater, who was among family and friends, who helped Leah and her husband Steve, salvage what was left of their home on Diane Marie Drive in Maryland Heights Saturday morning.
