JULY 21 2011- Diagnosed with diabetes, high cholesterol and hypertension because of his weight, Randy Putzler eliminated sugar from his diet. He also began a work-out routine at his area YMCA. Now 75 pounds lighter, he now works as a personal trainer and exercise class instructor at the YMCA in Wentzville. When I started experiencing what exercise was doing for me and how great I felt, I chose to go back and take personal training classes, said Putzler, who encourages student Rosemary Dombeck,79 1/2, in an advanced senior class at the YMCA in Wentzville Thursday afternoon. He makes class so much fun, said Dombeck, who says Randy is her favorite instructor. Laurie Skrivan | lskrivan@post-dispatch.com Please visit www.stltoday/multimedia.com for a gallery of images
