Thursday August 25, 2011--Frank Imo, oldest son of the Imo's Pizza family, opened area's first public biodiesel station in New Florence, Missouri.  Imo makes the biodiesel at plant a few miles east of the station.

Thursday August 25, 2011--Storage tanks outside Frank Imo's biodiesel production plant in High Hill, Missouri on Thursday.  Imo is now selling some of the biodiesel he produces at station he opened in New Florence a few miles down the road.

Octavio Nieto of the Alma de Mexico en St. Louis was asked to pose for a photo with Konchok Gyatso and Kalsang Losal as Dawa Tashi takes the picture at the International Institute's Festival of Nations at Tower Grove Park in St. Louis. Tibetans Gyatso, Tashi, and Losal performed with the Drepung Gomang Monastery earlier in the day. The free event runs through 6 pm Sunday and features food, crafts, art, music, and performances.

August 27, 2011- Edwardsville fire fighters salute as a
12-foot-long section of steel from the World Trade Center rolls past the Edwardsville Fire Station on Saturday in Edwardsville, IL.  The section of twisted metal was on its way to the fire station in Holiday Shores, IL, where an official dedication of the section into a memorial garden is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 11.
