Brian Lawrence, a painter at Rawlings' distribution center in Washington, Missouri, puts a flat coating on helmet shells Friday as he tests a new formula of colors to match a client's request. Rawlings, which got back into the football helmet business a year ago, landed the St. Louis Rams' Steven Jackson as their first NFL endodrsement last month.

September 17, 2011 - It looked like a lot of fun...but it's hot, said Ursuline Academy sophomore Claire Mulligan, 15, as she took the role of Ursa Bear alongside Luke Brooks, at left, at the start of Saturday's Greentree Festival Parade in Kirkwood.  The parade rolled down Kirkwood Road, finishing at Kirkwood Park, where the festival continues through Sunday.
