Dynalabs has invented a machine that measures doses and tests drugs. They expect it to spur employment as they prepare to move into a 32,000 square-foot facility on Chouteau Ave.

Friday Sept. 23, 2011 - St. Louis -
A ground crew puts stop blocks on the wheels of a Boeing 777 after it landed delivering the first of weekly cargo shipments between St. Louis and Shanghai, China Friday at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. The plane, from China Cargo, landed just before 5pm and was greeted by an arch of water canons.

Yerkes has been unable to find a job in her field since graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2009. Her specialties include information technology, new media, and marketing. I want to start a career. I want to be proud of what I do, she said.

Barton, with RideFinder, said her company donated 500 pretzels for the happy hour kick-off   that was put on by Downtown Partnerships. The free event, which features food, art, and music, runs through Sunday.

Regna, the owner of a handyman company called Scott At Your Service, has found it tough to get enough work to support himself and provide for his two children. I've been working since I was fifteen years old and I'm not afraid of a hard day's labor, says Regna, it's just not there anymore.

The couple is trying to save the buildings and get them on the National Register of Historic Places. The couple met a few years ago when Carla hired Miguel to clean out the old store.

SEPTEMBER 22 2011- I never thought I would be in a fashion show, said Missouri Children's Burn Camp camper Logan Gillette,15, of Jonesburg, Mo, who was among the models for the first Let's Give Burns the BOOT!  fashion show presented by Saks Fifth Ave Thursday night. The models for the show were MCBC campers, counselors and fire fighters. Gillette has been a camper for 10 years.  It made me less shy and I learned I didn't have to hide from my burns, said Gillette, suffered burns to his chest, hands and face from a gasoline fire in 2001.
