Left to right, Charlie Getz, Eba Berger, and Evan Furfaro carry Walking Bus signs during the Safe Route to School program sponsored by Trailnet at Briston Elementary School in Webster Groves. Students gathered at the Walter Ambrose Family Center and then walked down the street to Bristol Elementary School. According to Cynthia Cantrell, school specialist at Trailnet, the programs goal is get more kids walking and encourage them to be active and healthy. We want to get everyone out and walking, friends, family, kids. It's about community building, she said.

SETEMBER 30 2011- Students from St. Mary School in Brussels, Illinois tour the Nina which is docked at the Loading Dock in Grafton, Illinois Friday morning. The 'Pinta' and the 'Nina', replicas of Columbus' ships arrived in Grafton Thursday. The Nina was built by hand and without the use of power tools and considered to be the most historically correct Columbus Replica ever built. The Pinta was recently built in Brazil and is a larger version of the archetypal caravel. Both ships are on display until their departure early Monday morning October 10th.
