A lone white goose forages with a group of about 21 Canada geese in a softball outfield at Norman A. Myers Park in Overland Thursday Oct. 27, 2011 moments before the enitre flock took off towards the southeast. A representative at the World Bird Sanctuary says safety in numbers and the possibility of a better meal can entice one variation of geese to temporarily travel with another. Eventually, the two species will part ways.
