Dead child found near missing boy's St. Louis County home

Police searched the Affton area Tuesday for Tyler Dash, a one-year-old toddler reported missing about 11 a.m., authorities say. Homicide detectives were dispatched to a path along the south side of the River Des Peres for a report of a boy found dead there.
St. Louis County police issued a SARAA alert (St. Louis Area Regional Amber Alert) this afternoon for a missing boy, Tyler Dasher. Police were canvassing around the 7700 block of Clevedon Street for a the 1-year-old boy.  Police say Tyler's mother put him to bed about 10:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, overslept this morning and reported him missing to police after she awoke about 11 a.m.  A child was later  found dead in nearby Wilmore Park.
