Police held Shelby Dasher in connection with his murder Wednesday.

The current polar bear habitat at the Saint Louis Zoo stands empty Wednesday, Nov.16, 2011. The zoo's last polar bear, Hope, died in 2009. In 2010, the zoo announced a plan to build Polar Bear Point, an extensive habitat that would include several pools and a cave where visitors could see polar bears swimming underwater.
