1/5/12 Thursday,, St. Louis --- Danisha Knox, 2, looks out the second floor window of her apartment and watches St. Louis city lead detox workers clean up after scraping and painting over the lead paint on Knox's windowsills on Hydraulic Street. Knox's mother, Lola Taylor, took Knox in for a routine checkup last week and found that she had a lead blood level of 35, prompting the city to come out and cover the lead paint. J.B.
