The Gerst Haus' Schweinefilet sandwich has been chosen to compete with 45 others in a sandwich contest put on by the Indiana Office of Tourism Development, in partnership with the Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee and Indianapolis Monthly, to commemorate Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis. The list of Super 46 Sandwiches was released on Wednesday by the Indiana Office of Tourism Development. While most of the other sandwiches come from Indianapolis eateries, the Schweinefilet from Evansville and the bratwurst from the Schnitzelbank in Jasper, Ind. are on the list from southern Indiana.
