The center, located at 5351 Delmar Blvd., will have an emergency crisis access service and a unit devoted to brief treatment; intended as a temporary care facility. He chooses to be innovative in the type of food he serves the 573 students at the charter school - offering made to order lunch specials and concentrating on fresh food. During lunch Wednesday Jan. 25, 2012, Hayden prepared shrimp fried rice, using peas and carrots in the dish but no oil. It's fun to expose the kids to something new, said Hayden.
