Sculptor Edgar Degas' Little  Dancer of Fourteen, part of one of the newly arranged themes at the St. Louis Art Museum, sits on display on Wednesday Jan. 25, 2012.  With 30 percent more gallery space under construction in the museum's addition, curators got a chance to reconfigure its existing space with new themes.

A parade to honor Iraq war veterans makes its way west on Market Street in St. Louis on Saturday, January, 28, 2012.  Parade organizers say 20,000 participated in the parade including over 600 post 9-11 veterans, and that the crowd approached 100,000 people along the parade route.

Phillips' son in law was Army specialist David Schaefer, from Belleville, who was killed in an IED attack in Baghdad on May, 15, 2009. I was surprised to see this.  I didn't know they were going to have this here.  I'm very glad to see it. said Phillips who was also wearing Schaefer's jacket.  Laury is a member of the Missouri Air National Guard.
