Jim Thrasher, right, listens as he wife Debbie Thrasher, right, gives testimony on a bill State Rep. Linda Black is sponsoring regarding unlicensed child care providers during a hearing in Jefferson City on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012. Thrasher's grandson William Sam Pratt died of alleged child abuse in an unlicensed home day care. Debbie Thrasher gave testimony in favor of the bill named after her grandson that would prohibit unlicensed child care providers from continuing to provide services if there are criminal charges pending against them. Thrasher are from Bonne Terre. I can't hear it. I've got severe anger issues over it. I've been in 13 foreign countries in the military and seen some terrible things - just about everything. But I can't listen to what happened. I don't know what it would do to me. That's my baby's baby. said an emotional Thrasher who left the hearing room shortly after this picture was taken.
