Emily Mathews of St. Louis gets acquainted with a red iguana before buying it from a dealer at the Gateway Reptile Expo on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at the Machinists Hall in Bridgeton. Mathews and her boyfriend Ian Silver bought two iguanas there they will bring home to more reptiles at home. Several varieties of pythons and boa snakes, turtles, chameleons and even frogs and tarantulas were on display and for sale at the one-day event.
