Girl Scouts Courtney Long (left) and Traonna Ward, members of troop 371 out of Granite City, clean up trash on Chouteau Island in Madison as part Trash Bash 2012 on Saturday, March 24, 2012.   The Confluence Partnership partnered with MSD to host Trash Bash 2012 that  included clean ups at three different locations in Illinois and Missouri with more than 900 volunteering to help.  The event collected over 600 tires, a 15 yard dumpster of metal, and two 40 yard dumpsters of trash that was littering the land.
