Tom and Jeanne Mason babysit their granddaughter Olivia Cheatham outside their damaged Maryland Heights home on Roth Hill Drive Thursday May 3, 2012. Their home, destroyed in the 1967 tornado and rebuilt by previous owners, had a hail-damaged roof and broken windows from Saturday's storm. The Masons had just returned from Mass when the storm hit Saturday. Jeanne Mason quickly changed from heels to flat shoes and headed for the basement as weather sirens roared. Tom Mason stayed upstairs and watched the hail crash into his car. I worry about (the weather) but who wouldn't?, said Tom Mason. But we all have to go someday.
