Boxing coach Kenny Loehr is on his 57th Year

Kenny Loehr has been teaching and coaching boxing for 57 years in the City of St. Louis. Loehr boxed as a young man and then switched to coaching. He coached the Spinks brothers - Michael and Leon. Loehr continues to help young, inner city kids the sport of boxing. Loehr's Mehlville home is full of trophies and recognitions for his long career.
Boxer Demond Dorsey gets an earfull from Coach Kenny Loehr after Dorsey asked Loehr for his opinion on how he fought Thursday April 26, 2012, at the St. Louis Gateway Classic Hall of Fame Boxing Show.  Loehr told Dorsey that he wasn't mean enough and not aggressive enough. I don't pull any punches, said Loehr. I tell them like it is. Some of them appreciate it. Afterwards, Dorsey shook hands with Loehr and thanked him.
