Stray Rescue of St. Louis Enrichment Specialist Lauren Olejarz of Rock Hill gives Mystic some love along their morning walk route Wednesday, May 30, 2012, in St. Louis. Volunteers or staff take the rescue dogs on walks twice a day -- one in the morning and one in the afternoon. A disproportionate amount of dogs at the rescue are pit bulls like Mystic because the rescue does not take in drop offs, only street rescues due to high volume.
