Cardinal Ritter's Charles Jones Jr. anchored the wiining 4 x 800 meter relay team Friday to earn the gold medal in the event at the Missouri Track and Field Championships in Jefferson City.. The Cardinal Ritter team ran the relay in a time of 7:50.58

The Jackie Sue, a tugboat for the Osage Marine Services fleet, heads south on the Mississippi River on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, where it served as a rescue ferry for some boaters whose small bass boat got hung up on the group of barges on the right Tuesday evening. A  barge worker for Inland Marine Kyle R. Hardman, 55, of Barbourville, Ky., fell into the river after handing off one of the young children to safety.
