James Merrow (center) and Melanie Young clean up their dogs and belongings at the Wright City rest stop on westbound Interstate 70 on Tuesday, June 26, 2012.  The couple were stuck in a traffic jam caused by the Interstate 64 resurfacing when one of their dogs pooped in the car and the other one barfed.  They are moving from Florida to Alaska where Merrow will work as a firefighter and Young will complete her schooling to become a nurse.

I thought I'd lay down for couple of hours said DavŽ, from Los Angles, who said he was traveling to an Indian reservation in South Dakota.  DavŽ said he travels across the country to provide medical services to the residents on different reservations.
