Friends and relatives of Cpl. Gunnar W. Zwilling remembered him today during his funeral. Zwilling, 20, of O'Fallon, Mo. was killed on July 13 in Afghanistan.

An unidentified man pulled over on Interstate 70 to salute the funeral procession. Zwilling served with the 173rd Airborne Brigade and was among nine American soldiers killed and 15 wounded in an attack on an American outpost that day in eastern Afghanistan.
