He was a backup quarterback thrust into the starter's role because of a preseason injury to the Rams' first-stringer. Kurt Warner finished the 1999 season as the league's MVP, and also collected the MVP award as the Rams won the Super Bowl in January of 2000. Here's a look at that season.
