THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2009 - Raydeane James (left) from Springfield hugs President Abraham Lincoln after the President's wife Mary Todd Lincoln (far right) took their picture with James' camera at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in downtown Springfield Thursday afternoon.  James and the President are standing in front of a life-size model of Lincoln's 1818 childhood one-room cabin home in Little Pigeon Creek, Indiana.  The roles of President Lincoln and his wife were played by Michael Krebs and Debra Ann Miller from Chicago.  The city celebrated President Lincoln's 200th birthday with events held throughout the day including a wreath laying at his tomb by members of the American Legion and the new governor.John L. Milhaven has been fined hundreds of thousands of dollars by the Internal Revenue Service for a financial maneuver recommended to him by his accountant. TUESDAY, MAY 12, 2009 - Kevin Siddle, the director of operations for the Detonics company, poses for a portrait holding a Detonics Ops Master gun at a firing range used by both the Millstadt and Columbia police departments in Millstadt.  According to the company's chief executive officer Bruce Siddle, the firearms design company is developing a new gun that is designed to take into account extreme stress levels and enhance acccuracy during combat situations for law enforcement officers and others.
